Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 386.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 300.00 – 400.00. Admittedly, works by Constantin Macris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 3,444.00.

Die Arbeit Composition, 1959 von Constantin Macris kam im Juli 2012 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 386,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 400,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constantin Macris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.444,00.
