Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition Abstraite by Constantin Macris. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 615.00. Admittedly, works by Constantin Macris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 3,444.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Abstraite von Constantin Macris zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 615,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constantin Macris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.444,00.
