Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Torse De Jeune Femme, (Torso Of A Young Woman) C. 1909 by Constantin Brancusi. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,586.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constantin Brancusi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La jeune fille sophistiquée (Portrait de Nancy Cunard) in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 71,187,500.00 (€ 61,000,428.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Torse De Jeune Femme, (Torso Of A Young Woman) C. 1909 von Constantin Brancusi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.586,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constantin Brancusi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La jeune fille sophistiquée (Portrait de Nancy Cunard) im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.187.500,00 (€ 61.000.428,45).
