Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Nain (The Dwarf) by Constant was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Oiseau in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 432,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Nain (The Dwarf) von Constant kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Oiseau im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 432.750,00.
