Auction result fails to reach estimate
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Composition by Constant for DKK 1,450.00 (€ 194.76). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 2,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Constant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Oiseau in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 432,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Composition von Constant für DKK 1.450,00 (€ 194,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Constant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Oiseau im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 432.750,00.
