Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,250.00. Admittedly, works by Constant Artz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 11,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ducks near two willows on the bank of a stream von Constant Artz kam im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constant Artz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.750,00.
