In May 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work Ducks in a sunlit river landscape by Constant Artz. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Constant Artz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside, which sold at auction in January 2002 for EUR 11,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ducks in a sunlit river landscape von Constant Artz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Constant Artz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside beobachtet, die im Januar 2002 für EUR 11.750,00 versteigert wurde.
