The work The first swim by Constant Artz was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. It achieved a price of EUR 2,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33 %. Admittedly, works by Constant Artz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 11,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The first swim von Constant Artz kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constant Artz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.750,00.
