Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ducks along the waterfront, a windmill beyond by Constant Artz was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Constant Artz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ducks and ducklings along the waterside in January 2002 with an auction result of EUR 11,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ducks along the waterfront, a windmill beyond von Constant Artz kam im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constant Artz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ducks and ducklings along the waterside im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.750,00.
