It achieved a price of USD 12,112.50 (€ 10,919.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conrad Felixmüller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstbild (Kopf) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 706,500.00 (€ 829,955.51).

Die Arbeit Selbstbildnis mit Frau von Conrad Felixmüller wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 12.112,50 (€ 10.919,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conrad Felixmüller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstbild (Kopf) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 706.500,00 (€ 829.955,51).
