Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selbstbildnis mit Zeichenstift by Conrad Felixmüller was sold in the ExpressionismGermany, Austria and Beyond auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 512.00 (€ 587.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conrad Felixmüller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstbild (Kopf) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 706,500.00 (€ 829,955.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Selbstbildnis mit Zeichenstift von Conrad Felixmüller wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion ExpressionismGermany, Austria and Beyond bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 512,00 (€ 587,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Conrad Felixmüller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstbild (Kopf) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 706.500,00 (€ 829.955,51).
