This work of art by Clark Hulings could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Taormina changed hands for USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,558.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Clark Hulings have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wash Day In The Pyrenees in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 133,000.00 (€ 85,475.58).
