The work The Orange Juice Stand by Clark Hulings was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2009. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 26,546.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Clark Hulings - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wash Day In The Pyrenees, which sold at auction in May 2008 for USD 133,000.00 (€ 85,475.58).
