In November 2004 Christies in Beverly Hills held the auction CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Muddy Barnyard by Clark Hulings. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,157.50 (€ 7,660.83), 45% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clark Hulings achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wash Day In The Pyrenees in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 133,000.00 (€ 85,475.58).

Im November 2004 führte Christies in Beverly Hills die Auktion CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Muddy Barnyard von Clark Hulings zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.157,50 (€ 7.660,83) und damit 45% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clark Hulings erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wash Day In The Pyrenees im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 133.000,00 (€ 85.475,58).
