Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled IV from 'Sylvan' by Clare Richardson was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,446.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Clare Richardson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2009 the work Untitled V was auctioned for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,144.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled IV from 'Sylvan' von Clare Richardson kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.446,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Clare Richardson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2009 die Arbeit Untitled V für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.144,98) versteigert.
