A top price for Clare Richardson - as previously expected
The work Untitled V by Clare Richardson was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,144.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled V is the most expensive artwork by Clare Richardson that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Untitled V von Clare Richardson wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.800,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.144,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled V das teuerste Kunstwerk von Clare Richardson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
