Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled 84-7-7 by Chung Sang-Hwa was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 52,042.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chung Sang-Hwa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 97-3-26 in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,440,000.00 (€ 757,854.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled 84-7-7 von Chung Sang-Hwa kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 52.042,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chung Sang-Hwa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 97-3-26 im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.440.000,00 (€ 757.854,41).
