Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In December 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale, which included the work Untitled 77-8-12 by Chung Sang-Hwa. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 5,875,000.00 (€ 665,466.51), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chung Sang-Hwa have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 6,440,000.00 (€ 757,854.41) in October 2016 for the work Untitled 97-3-26.

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled 77-8-12 von Chung Sang-Hwa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 5.875.000,00 (€ 665.466,51) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chung Sang-Hwa haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.440.000,00 (€ 757.854,41) im Oktober 2016 für die Arbeit Untitled 97-3-26 beobachtet.
