Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lotus Series by Chua Ek Kay was sold in the Modern Day Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 550,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 567,000.00 (€ 68,554.43). Other works by Chua Ek Kay have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 106,868.96) in November 2015 for the work Archipelago 1, 2, & 3.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lotus Series von Chua Ek Kay wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 550.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 567.000,00 (€ 68.554,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Chua Ek Kay haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 106.868,96) im November 2015 für die Arbeit Archipelago 1, 2, & 3 beobachtet.
