Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 59,947.94). Other works by Chua Ek Kay have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 106,868.96) in November 2015 for the work Archipelago 1, 2, & 3.
