A top price for Chua Ek Kay
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Convergences: A Special Sale of Singapore Art, which included the work Archipelago 1, 2, & 3 by Chua Ek Kay. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 875,000.00 (€ 106,868.96), 59% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Archipelago 1, 2, & 3 the most expensive artwork by Chua Ek Kay that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Convergences: A Special Sale of Singapore Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Archipelago 1, 2, & 3 von Chua Ek Kay zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 106.868,96) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
