Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Rooms Newly Decorated by Christof Kohlhöfer for GBP 188.00 (€ 237.37). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christof Kohlhöfer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 3-D Micky in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 7,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Rooms Newly Decorated von Christof Kohlhöfer für GBP 188,00 (€ 237,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christof Kohlhöfer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 3-D Micky im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.125,00.
