Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sanssouci by Christiane Baumgartner was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2015. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,316.24). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christiane Baumgartner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Manhattan Transfer, which sold at auction in September 2019 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,336.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sanssouci von Christiane Baumgartner kam im Juli 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.316,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Christiane Baumgartner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Manhattan Transfer beobachtet, die im September 2019 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.336,20) versteigert wurde.
