Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Day Sale Afternoon session, which included the work Pablo Picasso - 1895-1973 - Catalogue Raisonné by Christian Zervos. It changed hands for a price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,769.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Zervos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 170,500.00 (€ 118,600.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Day Sale Afternoon session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pablo Picasso - 1895-1973 - Catalogue Raisonné von Christian Zervos zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 43.769,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Zervos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 170.500,00 (€ 118.600,45) versteigert wurde.
