Walter auction, the work Clam Chowder/ORIENT; together with 2002/$O$ sold for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,174.47) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Schumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Faces) in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 51,357.26).

Walter wurde die Arbeit Clam Chowder/ORIENT; together with 2002/$O$ für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.174,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Schumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Faces) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 51.357,26).
