The work Star by Chris Martin was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2016. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,980.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Staring into the Sun, which sold at auction in December 2017 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 31,192.81).

Für andere Arbeiten von Chris Martin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Staring into the Sun beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 31.192,81) versteigert wurde.
