In September 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Seven Pointed Star by Chris Martin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,734.08), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Staring into the Sun, which sold at auction in December 2017 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 31,192.81).

Im September 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven Pointed Star von Chris Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.734,08) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Chris Martin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Staring into the Sun beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 31.192,81) versteigert wurde.
