Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Compassion, from The Help Portfolio by Chris Levine was auctioned at Phillips in London in September this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 762.00 (€ 762.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chris Levine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lightness Of Being, 2004 in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 187,500.00 (€ 222,659.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Compassion, from The Help Portfolio von Chris Levine kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 762,00 (€ 762,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chris Levine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lightness Of Being, 2004 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 222.659,48).
