Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Chris Killip could be acquired at Artcurial in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photography Bruno Mouron Collection auction, the work In Flagrante changed hands for EUR 253.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chris Killip achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rocker And Rosie Going Home, Seacoal Beach, Lynemouth, Northumberland, Uk, 1984 in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,933.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chris Killip konnte im Dezember 2015 bei Artcurial für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photography Bruno Mouron Collection wechselte die Arbeit In Flagrante für EUR 253,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chris Killip erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rocker And Rosie Going Home, Seacoal Beach, Lynemouth, Northumberland, Uk, 1984 im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.933,08).
