In the The Discerning Eye: Property from the Collection of Eric Franck, Part I auction, the work 'Youth On A Wall, Jarrow, Tyneside', 1976 changed hands for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,455.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Killip - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rocker And Rosie Going Home, Seacoal Beach, Lynemouth, Northumberland, Uk, 1984, which sold at auction in April 2014 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,933.08).
