Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Helen and Her Hoola-Hoop' by Chris Killip was sold in the Photographs auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,400.00 (€ 6,056.02). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chris Killip - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rocker And Rosie Going Home, Seacoal Beach, Lynemouth, Northumberland, Uk, 1984, which sold at auction in April 2014 for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,933.08).
