The work „Bingo, West-End of Newcastle“. by Chris Killip was auctioned at Grisebach in June 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. Admittedly, works by Chris Killip have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rocker And Rosie Going Home, Seacoal Beach, Lynemouth, Northumberland, Uk, 1984 in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,933.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit „Bingo, West-End of Newcastle“. von Chris Killip kam im Juni 2016 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chris Killip auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rocker And Rosie Going Home, Seacoal Beach, Lynemouth, Northumberland, Uk, 1984 im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.933,08).
