It achieved a price of USD 42,500.00 (€ 36,418.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chris Burden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Warship in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 502,000.00 (€ 450,830.71).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 42.500,00 (€ 36.418,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chris Burden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Warship im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 502.000,00 (€ 450.830,71).
