Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait made for the artists mom but disliked by the artists mom by Chloe Wise was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,795.00 (€ 9,929.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chloe Wise achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Above all things, be glad, and young, and relatively irreplaceable in May last year with an auction result of USD 144,900.00 (€ 135,029.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.795,00 (€ 9.929,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
