Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Christies in Paris held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Self Portrait with Fruits and Pocky by Chloe Wise. The price achieved of GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,290.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chloe Wise achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Above all things, be glad, and young, and relatively irreplaceable in May last year with an auction result of USD 144,900.00 (€ 135,029.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self Portrait with Fruits and Pocky von Chloe Wise zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.290,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chloe Wise erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Above all things, be glad, and young, and relatively irreplaceable im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.900,00 (€ 135.029,35).
