Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Chloe Wise could be acquired at Phillips in London in January this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Polysemic Primavera changed hands for GBP 945.00 (€ 1,072.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chloe Wise achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Above all things, be glad, and young, and relatively irreplaceable in May last year with an auction result of USD 144,900.00 (€ 135,029.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chloe Wise konnte im Januar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wechselte die Arbeit Polysemic Primavera für GBP 945,00 (€ 1.072,59) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chloe Wise erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Above all things, be glad, and young, and relatively irreplaceable im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.900,00 (€ 135.029,35).
