The work Cupid by Chintan Upadhyay was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,400.00 (€ 17,336.29). Admittedly, works by Chintan Upadhyay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Together For Life Whether We Like It Or Not in October 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 111,890.87).

Die Arbeit Cupid von Chintan Upadhyay wurde im März 2008 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 27.400,00 (€ 17.336,29) einen neuen Besitzer.
