In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work Sorry Does Not Make Any Difference I sold for USD 91,000.00 (€ 63,998.87) - well above the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Chintan Upadhyay; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Together For Life Whether We Like It Or Not sold at auction in October 2008 with the realized price of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 111,890.87).
