Each scroll with one to two collectors' seal: Yu Zhai Zhu Ren Mi Cang, Shen Ding Mi Wan

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscapes by Cheng Zhengkui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. It achieved a price of HKD 35,850.00 (€ 3,611.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cheng Zhengkui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,180,000.00 (€ 121,484.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Cheng Zhengkui kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 35.850,00 (€ 3.611,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cheng Zhengkui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.180.000,00 (€ 121.484,44).
