The work Studio By The Stream by Chen Zun was sold in the Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy from the Yong Li Studio auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,166.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plum Blossom in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 389,000.00 (€ 308,045.61).

Die Arbeit Studio By The Stream von Chen Zun wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy from the Yong Li Studio bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.166,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plum Blossom im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 389.000,00 (€ 308.045,61).
