A top price for Chen Zun
This artwork by Chen Zun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2014. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Plum Blossom sold for USD 389,000.00 (€ 308,045.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00. This high result makes Plum Blossom the most expensive artwork by Chen Zun that we have observed at auctions so far.
