Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds At Riverside by Chen Zun was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,292.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plum Blossom in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 389,000.00 (€ 308,045.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds At Riverside von Chen Zun wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.292,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plum Blossom im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 389.000,00 (€ 308.045,61).
