Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Chen Zun. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,384.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Zun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plum Blossom in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 389,000.00 (€ 308,045.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Chen Zun zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.384,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Zun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plum Blossom im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 389.000,00 (€ 308.045,61).
