Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vitamin Z 14C (Test No. 15) by Chen Wenbo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 27,704.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wenbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinesetest No.10 in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 475,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vitamin Z 14C (Test No. 15) von Chen Wenbo kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 27.704,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Wenbo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinesetest No.10 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 475.000,00.
