Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lotus by Chen Qikuan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Other works by Chen Qikuan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work Mood was auctioned for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 161,808.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lotus von Chen Qikuan wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 147.052,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Qikuan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit Mood für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 161.808,98) versteigert.
