The work Dogs by Charles Williams was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,127.21), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Williams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,702.72).
