The work Dogs by Charles Williams was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,127.21), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Williams - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio, which sold at auction in January 2008 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,702.72).

Die Arbeit Dogs von Charles Williams wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.127,21) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Williams mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.702,72) versteigert wurde.
