Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Ekarenniondi, A Huron Indian Worshipping Stone, Canada; Sundown; Embers; And Jagged Rocks by Charles Williams. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 625.00 (€ 837.84). Admittedly, works by Charles Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,702.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ekarenniondi, A Huron Indian Worshipping Stone, Canada; Sundown; Embers; And Jagged Rocks von Charles Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 625,00 (€ 837,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Williams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.702,72).
