In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Spray Dryers At Clayton Analine by Charles Williams. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 750.00 (€ 1,005.41), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Charles Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,702.72).

Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spray Dryers At Clayton Analine von Charles Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 1.005,41) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Williams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Openshaw And Clayton From The Studio im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.702,72).
