However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Towne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A bay hunter and three pointers in a landscape with Lyston Hall beyond, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 138,650.00 (€ 214,460.15).
