Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,524.00 (€ 1,439.91). Admittedly, works by Charles Lutz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stacked (LV Heinz, Brillo and Kellogg's Boxes) in September 2009 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,255.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Brillo Box, from Denied Warhol Sculptures von Charles Lutz wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction bei Phillips in 6 - versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.524,00 (€ 1.439,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Lutz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stacked (LV Heinz, Brillo and Kellogg's Boxes) im September 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.255,47).
